The company

MDF Hallein was founded by the binderholz Group, with headquarters in Fügen, Tyrol, in 1999. Subsequent to a brief project phase in 1998, the plant was built at its present location in Hallein, in the federal state of Salzburg, with a construction time of a mere seven months.
Today, MDF Hallein is one of the most state-of-the-art production plants, with a production capacity of 300,000 m³/year; using specialized technology, it is capable of producing panels of a high quality.                                   
The plant possesses modern air purification systems and has its own railway connection.
